VioletGreen
The Lost Art of
Living
At VioletGreen we are working to provide an expansive alternative to present opioid addiction protocols and drug rehabilitation. Our focus is a transformative healing process for teenagers and young adults while living and working in our greenhouse project.
The opioid crisis is a national tragedy of epidemic proportions
More than 28 million people over the age of 12 are addicted to prescription drugs, a number that is higher than those addicted to illicit drugs.
In the span of 10 years, the number of opioid related deaths has nearly quadrupled, leading to at least 107,000 deaths in 2022.
Only 2-3 out of 10 individuals successfully complete rehabilitation programs and remain drug free
The standard procedure for rehabilitation is through intense detox programs and halfway houses. No matter how a program is administered, 80% of participants will relapse into addiction.
How does one truly leave addiction behind with these rates of failure?
Addiction is a biological craving that counseling and therapy alone cannot eliminate
We have developed and received patent protection for a treatment protocol that will mitigate or entirely eliminate those biological cravings.
Our mission and purpose is to provide a transformative process for healing teenagers and young adults with opioid addictions that includes working and living in a nurturing greenhouse project
At VioletGreen, individuals have the opportunity to break the cycle of addiction through directly addressing the biological and neurological components of addiction.
Our planned state of the art solar powered greenhouses in northern Arizona will provide tools to help these teens and young adults learn the Lost Art of Living by teaching them skills to pursue viable careers, establish balance in their lives, and give back to the community.
